In practise, venture capital is an alternative model for
financing via private equity. Generally, new economy products
and ventures with relatively high risk and return expectations
are subject to venture capital practices.
Omnifinancial focuses mainly on private equity as can be
seen on the Turkey examples in the references
column. When and where necessary venture capital alternative is
also within reach via international representations.
The venture capital industry has four main players:
enterpreneurs who need funding, investors who want high returns;
investment bankers who need companies to sell; and the venture
capitalists who make money for themselves by making a market for
the other three.
The
below drawing describes the relationship between these four
parties.
